Ubuntu on Asus EEEPC and Ethernet/wifi issue

First of all , I was having so many issues with the ethernet and wif with my asus eeepc 1000h. Ethernet and wifi are not getting detected at all . and I have searched on net and tried almost every solution/suggestions including ndiswrapper, madwifi building from source etc . The device drivers built from the device manufacturers websites were also not helpful .

Then I found a custom flavor of ubuntu for asus eeepc called ubuntu-eee version 8.04 . I installed it using usb stick and everything were fine except the wifi .Also another new issue came as audio is not also got detected .

while searching for more solutions, I came across a new kernel for asus eeepc at www.array.org/ubuntu . I was having a usb-wifi so i was always connected with the net . That helped me a lot to trying out the kernel .

and that did the magic . Once booted from new kernel everything is working perfect and very optimum performance .

Thanks to people at ubuntu-eee and array for this amazing product .
