Kafulok at Kolkata’s China Town.
A good typical Chinese food joint where you can have great meal for a very reasonable price. The decor may not be called excellent ,compared to other well known joints like Beijing or Big Boss, but what you need is a good ambience’s with great food. That’s what Kafulok gives you. The service is good.Though it is not located on the main road yet lovers of authentic Chinese food frequent this place as they get the real taste of China at an affordable rate.
I visited this place so many times as it is one of my regular food joint to hang around . The best dish , one of my favorite is Golden Fried Prawn ( must be tried with Vodka or Whisky ). Some others are Chicken Vegetable Mushroom stir fried, Gravy Hakka Chowmin, Pepper Chicken, Chicken Wanton Soup. Chicken Vegetable Mushroom stir Fried most and it was an excellently prepared dish. and oh yes, they also offer complimentary ice creams . Overall all, in each visit its always a great experience indeed.
